I have been tweeking this deck for sometime now. I have ran it agenst many diffrent kinds of decks and I can say for sure that this deck is a tough one to beet. Every time I pull this deck out against my friends I all ways get gained up on in a multi-player format. This deck works every simply, get creatures out and sac them to make the other players sac there creatures by Grave Pact. Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker will bring most of your creatures back. Carrion Feeder is your main sac generator but most of the creature have there own sac ability. Deathgreeter is great for longer games sence it will allow you to gain lots of life very quickly. Scavenger Drake will get bigger with the more creatures go to the graveyard. So how to win with this deck. Sac your creatures dring there attack step to make them sac theres before they can deal damage and do some other affects like make them lose life with Bile Urchin and Infectious Host, at the end of there turn bring the all back with the Caretaker and swing with away with all your creatures including a realy big Carrion Feeder and Scavenger Drake. With two Nether Traitors out you can sac them and keep bringing them back to quickly clear the bord and to pump the Feeder and Drake up. Please Rate Fairly and i will Rate back asap. ANY HELP WITH BETTER CREATURES WILL BE GREAT BUT I THINK I FOUND MOST OF THE GOOD 1 POWERED CREATUERS FOR THIS DECK. Edit: i took out 3 Infectious Hosts and added 3 Nezumi Shadow-Watcher, they have there own sack ability and only cost 1 black. i can use them to kill off changelings or that random ninja. or just use it to activate Grave Pact. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EDIT: -1 Grave Pact - 1 Blood Pet -1 Overeager Apprentice +3 Rite of Consumption. I figured once i have a really huge Carrion Feeder or Scavenger Drake and i am playing against a token deck and cant make them get rid of all there creatures i wanted a black Fling in this deck to bypass there mass numbers of creatures. UP DATE 04/19/10:: After I went to the Pre-release I found Death Cultist, A 1/1 for one black that has, Sacrifice Death Cultist: Target player loses 1 life and you gain 1 life. So i have taken out 3 Nezumi Shadow-watchers and added in 2 Abyssal Gatekeepers and so far 1 Death Cultist. As I find more after its release I will put more in, probably replacing all of the Bile Urchins for them.

this deck is one of my favorites of all time. i left a comment for possible card substitutions if your interested. forgot to add these though too, as they are going to be released in the Rise of the Eldrazi set, which is not out for a little bit. 1)Mortician Beetle (this would be so nice in here with your sac strategy plus the Grave pact!) 2)Suffer the Past (This is just nice in any black deck that is playing against a reanimation deck.. my friend has a zombie one so i took special notice of it). Mainly the Beetle is the one i think you should look at. Great Deck though! |

Maybe try Phyrexian Plaguelord instead of the Shriekmaws? And have you tried running Breeding Pits and/or Festering Goblin? |

Seems like a solid deck. Maybe you could add some more cards with Threshold, I doubt it would hurt. And maybe it's just me, but when I think of black sacrificing, I think of Fallen Angel. Well, that's my two cents. Please rate my Blackpearl deck. |

Really nice deck. From what I'm seeing you can have a 2nd turn Gravepact. So my suggestion is this, switch out the shriekmaws for some guiltfeeders. They'll really punish your opponents and they work with the caretaker. Although I don't think of this deck as being that original since the idea has been running around since Grave Pact was printed I'll give you a 9 anyway. The deck seems pretty fast which brings up the fact that if you run out of speed you're gonna get screwed, as draw my version of this deck uses Skullclamp or you could maybe use Phyrexian Arena. Since I can only imagine how quick your graveyard fills up you could possibly use Tombstalker as an alternative win-condition. Please rate my Wolfdrazi deck and I will rate another one of yours. |

This deck is a real pain to deal with, i have played agains it many times and its hard to beat. His deck plays differently in single play then in multi-player settings, single its all ways on the attack where in multi, he can sit back and build an army and make sure the only creatures in play are his. I think the only decks that can beat this one is a really fast burn deck, but even still he can get lots of creaturs out fast and some realy big ones as well. |

due to the fact that a lot of people have told me how good this deck was, I am giving it a 10/10. 10 for playability because its realy fast and hard to beat, and a 10 for Originality because I came up with this idea my self, I found the cards and put them together with out looking at any other decks for ideas. |
