Description:

Simply put, vampires are incredible. They are versatile in their game altering abilities and each vampire is quite powerful in its own way. When the vampires of Zendikar and Worldwake were printed I knew that it was time to try out a vampire deck in the extremely competitive environment of my local Eternal format tournaments. 10 of the top 20 ranked Eternal Utah players compete here each week; I am ranked 17th in the state. I was pleasantly surprised when I took 2nd place in the tournament with my un-tuned vampire deck (the decklist below minus Volrath's Stronghold, 1x Urborg, 3x Tainted Isle, 1x Polluted Delta, 3x Vampire Hexmage, 2x Umezawa's Jitte, 1x Sorin Markov and the 4x Chills on the sideboard.) The only two decks that this one lost to was another vampire deck and a burn deck (the burn deck won the tournament the other vampire deck got 3rd) The deck murdered white particularly after side board with Gloom and Virtue's Ruin. This deck was too fast to let combo decks get set up. Overall when the day was done I was very happy with the way the deck had performed so I decided to tune it up a bit and I will try this new decklist at the next Eternal tournament.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated (other than Dark Ritual; I hate holding 2 worthless rituals in my hand late game!) Please rate fairly and I will rate a deck of your choice in return. Thanks for viewing!
BTW this is a relatively expensive decks but if you play in Eternal format tournaments you probably have a large amount of great cards to choose from. My apologies to all of the budget deck builders out there this is not a cheap deck to create.
EDIT
Good call on the Null Rod, it will shut down nasty Welder decks pretty quick. And yes I do agree that one less CoW is a good call. Thanks for that feedback. I do agree also that a Dark Depths is a good backup plan in case I do have a Hexmage to sac to it. I had totally forgotten that Crypt of Agadeem existed thanks for the tip!
